We are seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician who is committed to collaboration, empathy, integrity and shared goals that create a supportive and fulfilling environment for all.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Restrain and handle patients safely and compassionately
- Obtain patient histories and maintain accurate medical records
- Perform laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging as directed
- Administer medications and treatments
- Prepare surgical and dental patients
- Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery
- Educate clients on preventive care, medications, and treatment plans
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment and exam areas
Qualifications
- Veterinary technician experience preferred, but willing to mentor
- NYS Veterinary Technician License or eligible for veterinary licensure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
