About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. This isn't an entry-level position — you know your way around an exam room, you've placed a catheter under pressure, and you don't need someone walking you through a TPR. You'll work closely with our veterinarians to deliver high-quality care across a range of cases, from routine wellness visits to surgical procedures.
What You'll Do
- Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and fluid therapy setup - Assist in surgical procedures: prep, monitoring anesthesia, and recovery - Take radiographs - Run in-house lab work: CBC, chemistry panels, urinalysis, cytology - Triage and assess incoming patients; recognize and respond to urgent cases - Administer medications and treatments per doctor orders - Maintain accurate medical records - Educate clients on post-op care, medications, and preventive health - Keep treatment areas, equipment, and surgical suites clean and stocked
About You
- 2+ years of hands-on veterinary technician experience required - CVT, LVT, or RVT license strongly preferred - Comfortable with multi-species (small animal; exotic experience a plus) - Steady under pressure - Strong communicator with clients and colleagues alike - Detail-oriented with medical records and medication logs
