Position Summary
Accountants at ADM possess a strong understanding of accounting systems and processes, with deep knowledge in their assigned areas. They are adept at preparing and reviewing accounting records, including financial statements and other reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with departmental standards. Accountants confidently interact with management across various levels and departments, including administrative, commercial, and operational areas. While they do not have direct supervisory responsibilities, they are expected to support and complete assigned projects effectively.
Job Responsibilities
Monthly Accounting: Perform monthly accounting tasks following US GAAP guidelines, including relevant financial analysis.
Internal Controls: Conduct annual reviews and revisions of Key Financial Controls (SOX requirements) and process flows, aiming to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls.
Financial Analysis: Collaborate with business partners to provide insights and analysis into financial results.
Financial Statements: Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules.
Process Improvement: Actively participate in and support the implementation of process changes.
Assigned Duties: Perform tasks such as plant accounting, reporting on profit and loss statements, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, and managing accruals, deferrals, and amortizations.
Who We’re Looking For
Education: Pursuing a 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with expected graduation in 2025.
Relocation: Willingness to relocate across the U.S. as part of the program.
Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills.
GPA: Minimum GPA of 2.8
