Tax Staff Accountant

We are looking for a Tax Staff Accountant to join our growing team! 

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare tax adjusting journal entries.
  • Prepare annual depreciation schedule updates.
  • Prepare federal and state tax returns for partnerships, C corporations, S corporations, individuals, non-profits, and trusts.
  • Prepare tax planning and forecasting calculations for businesses and individuals.
  • Prepare extension calculations for businesses and individuals.
  • Assist on special projects as assigned.
  • Engage in internal tax practice initiatives and training.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other financial areas preferred.
  • No experience required.
  • CPA, or CPA candidate is preferred; desire to obtain certification required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work overtime, as needed. Overtime is required February through April.

Pay transparency: 

This position is hourly non-exempt. The annual amount this position would pay is between $56,000 - $63,000 which includes expected paid overtime worked. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, prior public accounting experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
