Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and optimization of electroporation devices and systems. This position requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and a passion for innovation. The successful candidate must thrive in a highly dynamic, collaborative research environment and be committed to making significant contributions to our programs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop prototype electrical systems and components for electroporation devices.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to evaluate design concepts and performance.
  • Create detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to integrate electrical components into overall system designs.
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical systems to ensure
    Compliance with performance specifications and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement protocols for the calibration and maintenance of electroporation equipment.
  • Analyze data and provide technical reports and documentation to support product development and regulatory submissions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in electroporation technology to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute to project planning and
    decision-making processes.


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD (preferred) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical system design and development, preferably in the biomedical or medical device industry.
  • Strong understanding of electroporation principles and applications.
  • Proficiency in using electrical design and PCB layout software.
  • Experience with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB) for circuit analysis and optimization.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements for medical devices (e.g., ISO, FDA).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with high-voltage circuit design and safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and firmware development.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory testing and prototyping.
  • Experience with impedance recordings and analysis.
