Senior Evaluation Manager

We are now hiring for a full-time Senior Evaluation Manager to join our Headquarters (HQ) Team!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Facilitate the full cycle of program evaluation with program staff as assigned, from program planning and logic modelling to data analysis, report preparation and presentation, and integration of findings into program planning and practice. This position is responsible for MFS’ economic stability programs and some of MFS’ empowerment programs.
  • Transform program quality, fidelity, performance, and outcome data into program insight in collaboration with program leadership and staff using data visualization tools.
  • Monitor trends and support staff in implementing and engaging with evaluation activities in the assigned program portfolio.
  • Prepare and submit required reports for agency and program stakeholders in support of accountability requirements (monthly/quarterly/annually).
  • Lead and manage quality improvement and evaluation-related projects in support of departmental and agency goals.
  • Collaborate within the Evaluation & Outcomes team to identify and develop data sources, collect, clean, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data, and communicate results with diverse stakeholders.
  • Assist the Associate Director and Senior Director in creating standard processes and procedures for the team’s work.
  • Supervise the Data Coordinator to produce high-quality compliance reporting and team administrative support.
  • Provide guidance within the team on evaluation best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree in evaluation, social work, education or related field from an accredited college or university with 5 years of related work experience required. 
  • Must have experience in program evaluation that includes evidence-based practices and outcome measurement required.
  • Qualitative evaluation experience is required.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Employment with MFS requires proof of vaccination or an approved Medical exemption, required.
  • Strong analytic skills, attention to detail and sound judgement

  • Strong interpersonal communication and public speaking skills
  • Ability to focus on tactical projects with strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch.
  • The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing and viewing a computer terminal.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

 SALARY:

  • Compensation is commensurate with years of related experience, position requirements, and candidate qualifications. The average salary for the position is $72,500.
