Technical Support Representative

If you have a passion for problem solving, love technology, and enjoy thinking outside the box, you're who we're looking for. As a Technical Support Technician for DMP, you provide technical assistance and problem resolution to DMP dealers through any supported means of communication. You will ensure customer satisfaction by delivering a quick and accurate solution to a variety of issues that our dealers face while installing and servicing electronic burglary, fire and access control products.

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills; able to convey competence, confidence and empathy over any means of communication.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in typing.
  • High degree of accuracy/detail oriented.
  • Ability to troubleshoot or problem solve.
  • Ability to learn technical materials quickly.


Responsibilities:

  • Answer technical questions through any means of communication.
  • Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of their actions; developing and sustaining productive customer relationships.
  • Finds solutions, does not leave callers without a resolution or steps to resolution.
  • Demonstrates job excellence by taking detailed notes of everything that happens during their calls.
  • Verifies answers are correct by testing or checking documentation.
  • Develops knowledge of security industry and its products through dealer interaction.
