SCUBA Job Site Manager - Detroit Lakes Area

Full-time or Part-time, Summer Seasonal opportunities

No SCUBA experience required. We will help you become certified for the position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work underwater, above water and along the lake shoreline with a team of 2 to 6 other divers
  • Efficiently and effectively remove lake weeds in the service area by the root of the plant
  • Haul removed vegetation from the lakeshore and dock to the truck and trailer
  • Responsible for performance of individual divers on the crew
  • Motivate and hold crew members accountable by setting job site goals and expectations for the crew
  • Daily form completion and job reporting
  • Frequent communication with the Operations Manager and Sales Representative
  • Provide excellent customer service, and be the final sign-off on high quality results
  • Drive the company truck and trailer for the assigned daily route

Working Conditions:

  • Love of working outdoors and on lakes is essential. You must also be willing to work in poor weather conditions such as rain, high humidity and heat.
  • Each day will begin at our shop in Detroit Lakes, MN. You will travel together as a crew in a company truck to each routed job. The day will conclude with cleaning up from the jobs back at the shop.
  • Approximately 60% of your time will be working on the job site, and 40% will be spent on off job tasks such as driving, weed disposal, gear cleaning, and equipment care.
  • Day length can vary based on jobs, but will typically be 8-10hrs and start at 8am. Some overtime work as needed throughout the summer.
