Before/After School Assistant Facilitator

  JOB GOAL:
To provide the school site with organized and safe enrichment programs for children before and/or after school, as well as during school breaks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school diploma required.
  2. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  3. Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  4. Must obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  5. Excellent attendance.
  6. CPR/First Aid certified.


TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:  180 Days; 9 Months (Part-time)
COMPENSATION:  $15.98 - $18.86
BENEFITS:  As per District policy
REPORTS TO:  Director of Community Education
HOURS:  25 per week - Monday-Friday 6:30 a.m.-7:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.-6 p.m.
CLASSIFICATION:  Hourly, Non-exempt

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
  2. Supports QCUSD vision, mission and goals.
  3. Assists in planning, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating program implementation
  4. Exhibits excellent organizational, leadership and teamwork skills.
  5. Interact positively with parents/guardians, vendors and site/district staff.
  6. Communicates needs of program with department leadership
  7. Implements and supports district-wide initiatives and programs.
  8. Maintains confidentiality.
  9. Coordinates and communicates effectively with school and district employees.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
  11. Fills in for Supervisor as needed.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
