Front Desk Shift Lead – Bilingual in Spanish (Administration)

We are looking for dependable, self-directed staff committed to providing exceptional customer service at our facilities. As the first point of contact, you will greet patrons both in person and over the phone, focusing on creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for everyone. Bilingual staff who regularly use their language skills are also eligible for a bilingual pay incentive!
In this role, you will be responsible for registering patrons for classes, answering questions about district-wide and center-specific activities and programs, and performing clerical and maintenance duties as needed. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of office management principles and apply them to create a welcoming environment while solving problems. A basic understanding of software, particularly Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams), and the ability to learn proprietary registration systems is also required.

Classification Status:
The Administration Office is hiring for multiple roles with the following classification options:
- Part-Time Variable (PT): Employees generally work fewer than 20 hours per week, with a maximum of 1,560 hours annually.

Part-Time Benefits (PTB) Eligible: Employees work 20-29 hours per week year-round and are eligible for benefits.

Scheduling:
This position will be scheduled:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 11:30 am – 5:00 pm.
- Additional hours, outside special events, are scheduled Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- Some flexibility will be considered, but must include a portion of the listed schedule.
Pay Rate Range:
$18.22 - $20.52 Hourly
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently open, close, and staff the front desk.
- Greet the public and create a positive experience for customers with professional and courteous service.
- Provide information on schedules, program descriptions, and district information, both in person and over the phone.
- Answer calls, direct inquiries, and take accurate messages.
- Perform clerical tasks, including generating reports, assisting with program enrollment, receiving payments, and completing registration procedures.
- Assist with daily cleaning and sanitization of the office area, equipment, and program supplies to ensure the health and safety of all participants and staff as needed.
