Junior Factoring Account Manager

CapFlow Funding Group, was founded in 2009, based in Glen Rock, New Jersey and provides lending services to small and medium-sized businesses (factoring, purchase order financing, account receivables, and more asset-based lending solutions). We finance various types of businesses ranging from staffing agencies, manufacturers, distributors, temporary personnel agencies, wholesalers, and more. Facilities may range from $100K to $5M. 

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team. The Junior Factoring Account Manager will be responsible for assisting and supporting our Account Management team with the opportunity to be promoted into a Factoring Account Manager in the future.

Responsibilities:
Work with existing account management team to help streamline processes and cover workloads during heavy periods including:

  • Data entry, including the input of all required invoice information into factoring software
  • Walking new clients through our factoring software, demonstrating the process of submitting invoices, performing credit checks, and running reports.
    • Approving and processing advance requests
  • Maintain an excellent rapport with the clients as a day-to-day relationship manager
    • Follow up on collections and maintain positive relationships with account debtors.

In Office Position, requiring 5 days in office every week.

Required Skills:

  • Understanding of (or ability to quickly learn) all facets of accounts receivable financing including invoicing, verification, credit, collections, documentation, etc.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in maintaining a positive working relationship with clients while managing the credit risk to the organization
  • A self-starter that will get tasks done timely and look for additional ways to mitigate risk and streamline processes


Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field

2+ Years previous experience in account management, sales or customer service-based position.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel and MS Word
