About the Role

You will architect our app starting from a blank screen, using first principles thinking. Your role might involve coming up with novel ways for users to interact with social networks. Your job will be to develop a feel, brand, identity, product and interactions from 0 to 1. This is a creative lead role. We are looking for an a person that think of themselves as an architect and artist.

This is a part-time/contract job that can be converted to full-time

You'll flourish in this role if you:

• Have collaborated with teams as a founding designer to shape innovative solutions. • Obsess with consumer social apps. • You have a strong point-of-view, without ego — You may occasionally pursue a hunch that not everyone on the team agrees with, but are relentless about testing, deleting, and learning from ideas which don’t work • Owned the development and execution of impactful, widely-used product features.

Ideal Experience

• A portfolio of demonstrated experience designing and shipping features end-to-end (i.e., initial conceptualization → nth prototype → initial release → nth iteration) • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. • Experience designing for both web and mobile platforms
