Position Overview:
The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets. This role requires excellent communication, persuasion, and problem-solving skills to understand customer needs and offer solutions that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Identify and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Present, promote, and sell products or services to prospective customers.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed individual and team targets.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed information about features and benefits.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams based on customer insights.
Order Management:
- Prepare and follow up on sales quotations, proposals, and contracts.
- Process customer orders and ensure timely delivery and satisfaction.
Customer Support:
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and post-sale support.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions in the CRM system.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Ability to handle objections and turn potential rejections into opportunities.
