We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with a focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences. The Chef will be responsible for menu planning, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Manage inventory control to ensure proper stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Assist with banquet preparations and special events as required.
  • Monitor food quality and consistency, making adjustments as necessary to meet standards.
  • Implement shift management practices to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise kitchen staff.
  • Experience in menu planning and banquet service is preferred.
  • Proficient in inventory control and cost management within the kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff.
