The Medford Township Public Schools seeks a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to fill in as a Long Term Substitute on our inclusive educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs and creating an environment where every student can thrive. As a Special Education Teacher, you will collaborate with colleagues, parents/guardians, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.


This position is a long-term substitute position, hired through our hiring partner, ESS, and does not accrue seniority or tenure.  The position is currently scheduled to begin February 1st and continue throug the end of the 2024-2025 school year.  Successful candiate will be paid $232.43 / day.

 

Position Requirements

The successful candidate must hold a valid New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE), whether it be CE, CEAS or Standard.

  • Students with Disabilities (NJDOE #2475), and
  • Elementary School Teacher in Grades K-6 (NJDOE #1001)
