Sales Lead

The Role

Area 2 Farms seeks an energetic and passionate Sales Lead who will drive growth and revenue generation. This role will be responsible for expanding existing business and developing new local customers. The Sales Leader will be the point of contact for all account matters, anticipate the customers’ needs, and work closely with the farm team to ensure all needs are met.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Grow revenue, profit, and local market share by proactively identifying strategic and long-term growth and profit opportunities.
  • Work with the executive leadership team to develop strategy and proactively track progress toward operational goals.
  • Develop trusting relationships between community partners, farmers, and the company.
  • Sustain and grow business with existing customers.
  • Manage all communication between customers and internal teams.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales materials for account presentations.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Enter and update customer records in CRM software.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of sales experience. Preference for experience in the food industry.
  • Experience in account management.
  • Experience in cold calling, networking, and lead generation, all with the ability to capture and close new business.
  • Must have strong analytical skills.
  • A flexible schedule and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision (some weekends and nights required).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understands the culture of a rapidly growing disrupter brand.
