The Application packet linked here must be completed as we are required to submit all applications through the Rockland County Personnel Department. Applications are available for download at www.orangetown.com/recreation and must be submitted via email to orangetown.com/recreation or to the Orangetown Parks & Recreation office on 81 Hunt Road, Orangeburg, NY 10962

Application Instructions:

  • The application must include two letters of recommendation from a teacher, coach, religious leader, volunteer group, former employers, etc. and must be on organizational letterhead and must include an address, phone number and email. Members of your family are not appropriate references. Handwritten letters or letters without the proper contact information will not be accepted.
  • Applicants must be at least age 16 by June 30, 2025
  • Summer Camp Counselor Job Applications are being accepted until Friday, March 14 at 5pm

Description

  • Must be able to work all 6 weeks of summer camp from June 30 to August 8, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. (Closed July 4)
  • Supervise children at camp, in the pool during camp swim hours, and on field trips.
  • Assist in setting up and leading daily camper activities.
  • Have fun and bring excitement and energy every day.
