Arrowfoot.AI is a venture capital firm focused on data-enabled Ag-tech. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Systems Architect for one of our early-stage ventures to assist in furthering our mission of utilizing data analytics / ML / AI to improve efficiency, sustainability and welfare across certain segments of the livestock farming industry.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the implementation of the technology infrastructure to support device/edge/cloud distribution.
- Ensure the infrastructure supports scalability, reliability, and security requirements.
- Communicate findings to all stakeholders
- Enable smarter business processes by using analytics for meaningful insights
- Keep current with technical and industry developments
Required sills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline (master’s degree preferred).
- Five or more years of experience data infrastructure development and administration.
- Strong background in cloud computing, network architecture, data storage solutions, and IoT.
- Experience with designing scalable and secure infrastructure.
- Deep knowledge of specific types of databases, such as rational or foundational.
- Strong data management skills.
- The ability to analyze and present statistical information.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Experience in vendor selection and project management.
