
Main Gate Security-Concierge
Objective:
The Main Gate Security-Concierge serves as a specialist responsible for greeting visitors/guests and screening vendors, contractors, delivery drivers, visitors to prevent trespassers and non-registered visitors or guests from entering The Highlands private community.
Essential Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Monitor entrance of property through surveillance.
Identify visitors and ask for appropriate access credentials and/or documents.
Observe and calls of distress or emergency
Note suspicious behaviors and ask for identification if warranted
Call for aid if necessary.
Use Motorola radios, and cell phones to stay in contact with staff during emergencies
Answer telephone calls, take messages, answer questions, and provide information when the administrative office is closed.
Report rule infractions and violations to management.
Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.

Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Good working knowledge of security operations
Preferred Education and Experience:
A valid driver’s license is required.
Security/law enforcement experience
Customer Service and hospitality

Customer Service Excellence: A concierge mindset means being welcoming and helpful. Guards should assist visitors, residents, or co-workers while maintaining the company culture of service and professionalism.
Adaptability and Problem-Solving Skills: Challenging clients require flexibility. Guard should handle unexpected situations calmly and find solutions.
Vigilance and Situational Awareness: Being alert to potential risks and assessing situations is vital. Guard must stay vigilant and adapt to changing circumstances.
