Title: Graphic Designer
Reports to: Marketing Director
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Strong graphic design portfolio and related education
The Graphic Designer position is responsible for creating customized marketing materials, maintaining Colliers documents, images, and template libraries, while supporting real estate agents in the creation of customized sales documents.
The successful candidate will take both simple and complex concepts and create collateral to effectively communicate the intended message. This individual applies their comprehensive knowledge of graphic design to complete projects that adhere to Colliers’ brand guidelines.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Work with the marketing team to create templates, property marketing material, market reports, brochures, flyers, print & digital advertisements, internal signage and email campaigns
- Manage and maintain Colliers documents, images, and template libraries
- Coordinate with outside vendors including printing and photography services
- Ensure compliance with company brand standards with regard to design and quality
- Ability to transform data reports into easy-to-understand visuals through graphic elements
- Art direction for external event branding, print advertisement, and specialty marketing
- Other tasks as assigned by the Director of Marketing
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Advanced knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Lightroom
- Knowledge of Microsoft products: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Comfortable using a PC
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in creating digital content and collateral
- Ability to quickly understand briefs and produce concepts for refinement
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of and ability to adhere to corporate brand guidelines
- Mastery of layout, color theory, and typography in both print and digital media
- Attention to detail while juggling multiple projects and meeting critical timelines
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Goal-oriented, resourceful, self-directed, and a continuous learner
Desirable Skills (Not Required)
- Experience in a corporate environment
- Experience with GIS mapping
- Photography skills
- Knowledge of Asana
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams
- Knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint
