Supervising Water Resource Control Engineer/Section Manager

The Central Coast Water Board’s Permitting Section has an opening for a Supervising Water Resource Control Engineer. The position is located at 895 Aerovista Place, Suite 101, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. San Luis Obispo is a scenic city surrounded by mountains, the Pacific Coast, and superb wine country. Duties:

The incumbent is responsible for managing and implementing the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), Wastewater Consolidation, Waste Discharge Requirements, Section 401 Certification, Fuels Management, Stormwater, and Water Recycling programs. The incumbent participates and coordinates in the development of State Water Board policy and other coordination efforts related to the programs in their section.
