As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized support to individuals with developmental disabilities. You will work closely with participants of our nonprofit in both home and community environments, assisting them with daily tasks, promoting skill development, and fostering meaningful connections within their communities. If you are the type of person who likes connecting with the community, encouraging social interactions, and helping someone build a meaningful life, this social service position may be a fit for you. Shifts are flexible based on your availability, with part-time or full-time caseloads! At this time we are seeking someone primarily available on weekends, but have flexibility for weekday and overnight shifts as well.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries while providing compassionate support.
  • Reliability and dependability - you'll be someone our community can count on.
  • Valid CA driver's license, car insurance, reliable vehicle, and 2 years driving experience.
  • A solid work history and references that can attest to your dependability and reliability.
