Outdoor Guide Job

Zoar Outdoor in Charlemont, MA is currently hiring for all positions: Whitewater Raft Guides, Whitewater Kayak & Canoe Instructors, Bus Drivers, and base staff for part-time and full-time seasonal opportunities. 

We train new raft guides in April & May, and are looking for folks with great interpersonal skills, a sense of adventure, a positive attitude, and enjoy athletic endeavors. Join our team and spend a busy summer outside on the Deerfield River! Pay is by the trip and averages $18-20/hour with gratuity. Previous raft guiding experience is not required, though all guides must complete our new guide training program. 

The ideal candidate for a Paddlesports Instructor is a seasoned whitewater professional able to teach and paddle in up to class III whitewater, who loves to teach and loves to learn. ACA training is available for candidates with requisite paddling and interpersonal skills. This position will begin in the Spring.
