Dishwasher
The Acoaxet Club is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to ensure dishes are clean and ready to serve. The Dishwasher will clean and dry all dishes, glasses, and silverware and check that they are stocked properly throughout your shift. While on duty, the Dishwasher ensures that the dish room is kept clean and that equipment is stored properly and is responsible for sweeping and mopping floors in the kitchen area, removing trash and soiled linens at the end of each meal service. Key responsibilities include:
- Washes, stacks, sorts, and stores dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware.
- Maintains a clean kitchen, keeps dish area organized and free of clutter including maintaining clean, dry floors throughout the shift.
- Assists in storing food deliveries.
- Maintains the cleanliness of dry storage areas and the organization of storage shelves.
- Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef and other managers as needed.
- Follows sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Assists with closing, including aiding in the sanitation of cooking and food preparation stations.Monitors trash cans throughout shift, making sure to removes full trashcans and boxes as needed and at the end of each shift.
Candidate Qualifications
- Previous work experience as a Dishwasher
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Strong work ethic
- Planning, organization, and multi-tasking skills in managing reservations
- Demonstrable customer-service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
