Insurance Account Representative

Hey! I'm a local State Farm Insurance agent looking to hire an outgoing and customer-focused individual who enjoys working with the public. Someone that maybe some day aspires to run their own business! An intelligent person who can lead a team, multitask under pressure, and desires a high income potential! This position will assist in developing your business leadership skills, as well as sales and marketing experience. As part of this opportunity, you will learn from an experienced agent, see what it's like to run a business and help grow an agency!

Responsibilities:

Develop new leads, quote prospects, and schedule appointments

Identify coverage gaps, and market appropriate products & services to customers

Establish relationships, and follow up with potential clients

Work with the agent to establish and meet call/sales goals

This position requires outbound calling; including cold calls to potential clients

Qualifications/Abilities:

Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening

Extremely self-motivated & able to work in a team environment

Maintain a positive & strong work ethic with a total commitment to success every day

Must be very well organized, and able to multitask in high pressure situations

Ability to make presentations to potential clients. (In-person & on the phone)

Must be able to obtain appropriate state licenses

Must be able to handle high sales/appointment goals, and able meet those goals

Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft office programs (word, excel)
