Summer Program Enrichment Teachers

VAC Enrichment is a leader in project-based learning, offering immersive, hands-on programs for students from PreK to 12th grade. Starting in New Jersey, we’ve grown nationwide, partnering with hundreds of schools to deliver dynamic STEAM, life skills, and creative curricula. Position Overview:
We’re seeking Summer Program Enrichment Teachers to lead a variety of extracurricular classes for students in PreK through 9th grade. This flexible role is perfect for individuals passionate about inspiring students in an engaging, fast-paced environment.

Program Details:

Half Day Programs

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Weekly commitment: Choose the weeks you want to teach! Classes run from 06/09 - 08/15
  • Location: Temecula, CA
  • Compensation: Starting at $450.00 per week.

 

Available Subjects:
We offer a diverse range of classes, including:

  • Performance-Based: Speech & Debate, Film Acting, Theater & Improv
  • STEM: Coding, Cybersecurity, AI, Video Game Design, Robotics, Minecraft
  • Writing-Based: Creative Writing, Newspaper, Broadcast Journalism
  • Game-Based: Dungeons & Dragons, Pokémon: Build & Battle, Chess
  • Sports-Based: Ultimate Frisbee, Cheerleading, Karate, Soccer, Dance, Track & Field
  • Science: Weird Nature Science, Gardening, Arts & Science
  • Cooking/Baking
  • Arts: Photography, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Sewing

No subject-matter expertise is required—we provide curricula and training! However, prior experience is needed for Chess, Coding, D&D, and Dance.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach pre-planned lessons in an engaging, interactive way.
  • Motivate and connect with students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and fellow teachers.
  • Follow school policies, including COVID safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for teaching and working with children.
  • Experience in teaching, tutoring, or related roles (e.g., camp counselor).
  • Creative problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for engaging students.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute to campuses.
  • First Aid and CPR certifications (preferred).
