Join the Culinary Team at Trapper’s Landing Lodge

Located on the shores of beautiful Leech Lake, Trapper’s Landing Lodge is a luxury five-star family-owned resort in Walker, MN, offering exceptional lodging, dining, and year-round experiences for our guests. We are home to The Merit Lakeside Dining & Cocktails, our full-service restaurant and bar, serving both guests and the public.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and team-oriented Dishwasher to support the heart of our kitchen operations. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, professional culinary team while working in a scenic, lakeside environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a constant supply of clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools by operating dishwashing equipment and hand-washing as needed
  • Bus and reset dining tables, ensuring the dining room is clean and guest-ready
  • Support kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing floors and workstations
  • Clean kitchen equipment, small appliances, and food prep surfaces in compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist with unloading deliveries and properly organizing stock and supplies
  • Dispose of waste by emptying trash, rinsing receptacles, and maintaining a clean back-of-house environment
  • Collaborate with cooks, servers, and other team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
  • Follow all safety and food hygiene protocols to maintain a safe, compliant kitchen

What We're Looking For:

  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in a high-volume environment
  • Strong sense of responsibility and reliability; team-first attitude is essential
  • Effective time management and multitasking skills
  • Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs
  • Willingness to comply with all resort and food safety standards
  • Previous kitchen or restaurant experience a plus but not required—we’re happy to train motivated candidates
