$72,000-$82,000 (Depending on Experience)

SUNY Cortland is accepting applications for a full-time Associate Director for Residence Life and Housing. This associate director is a live-off position that is responsible for room assignments, billing, technology, and operations within the Residence life and housing department. The associate director also serves as the primary contact with student accounts, disability resources, and facilities management, as well as students and parents regarding housing concerns.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • Five years of experience within a higher education setting
  • Supervising experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Residence Life and/or housing experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • A master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Student Affairs, College Student Personnel, Higher Education, Counseling, etc.)
  • Experience managing housing occupancy
  • Experience partnering with multiple college offices to benefit student success
  • Experience with Housing Software (currently Housing Cloud), and/or Banner
