Universal Green Developers is a rapidly growing company specializing in sustainable and energy-efficient residential and commercial developments. We are seeking a Construction Manager to oversee the construction of new residential projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and sustainability at every stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the construction process from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Review blueprints, site plans, and material takeoffs, ensuring accuracy and cost control.
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain smooth operations and resolve supply or trade-related issues.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to enforce safety regulations, quality control, and adherence to building codes.
  • Evaluate and train field personnel, ensuring performance and productivity goals are met.
  • Coordinate construction scheduling, builder loading, and project pacing for optimal efficiency.
  • Communicate with sales teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Review and approve purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Lead weekly team meetings and individual site check-ins to ensure continuous improvement.

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of construction experience in residential or mixed-use development.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits.

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • Knowledge of building codes and sustainable construction practices.
  • Experience in green building, renewable energy integration, or LEED-certified projects.
  • Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., BuildPro, Procore).
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.

Work Environment:

  • Combination of field and office work with varying noise levels.
  • Requires frequent travel to active construction sites.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent walking, climbing stairs, standing, and working in outdoor environments.
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate tools, equipment, and business machines.
