
Production Technician

Role Overview:
As a Production Technician at KoMiCo, you’ll be a key player in our production team, ensuring that high-quality standards are met through every step of the cleaning and coating process. In this role, you’ll follow rigorous Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), contribute to fast Turn-Around-Times (TATs), and support our focus on micro-contamination control—an essential aspect in the semiconductor industry. Your commitment to detail, safety, and quality improvement will make a tangible impact as we support our clients in reaching optimal process yields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product SOP Compliance: Execute precise Standard Operating Procedures, upholding stringent product and quality standards.
- Efficient Task Management: Strategically plan and execute assigned tasks to achieve rapid TAT and consistent quality output.
- Quality Assurance: Take ownership of critical and specialized tasks, performing detailed checks to reduce internal defects and uphold product integrity.
- Daily Equipment Oversight: Complete equipment checklists, maintain accuracy, and document process flow for seamless operations.
- Safety and Environmental Compliance: Rigorously adhere to all safety protocols, including hazardous waste handling, to maintain a safe work environment and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Actively engage in 5S and other lean practices to enhance quality and operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with other departments to support coordinated production efforts aligned with KoMiCo’s standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proactive Approach: Strong commitment to KoMiCo’s goals, demonstrated through proactive behavior and a solutions-focused mindset.
- Professional Communication: Ability to interact professionally with internal departments and team members.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office and Quality Assurance principles, including inspection techniques.
- Detail-Oriented and Organized: Keen attention to detail, with the capability to handle complex production processes and maintain accuracy.
- Multi-Tasking Ability: Skill in managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
The position involves physical tasks, including:
- Working in diverse environments, such as cleanrooms, offices, and outdoor areas.
- Handling hazardous waste with strict adherence to environmental health and safety (EHS) protocols.
- Frequent climbing, bending, squatting, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Extended periods of standing, and performing repetitive motions.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 1 year of experience in a production, quality, or technical environment.
