As a Research Foundation employee in the Advancement Information Services (AIS) department, the Information Systems Specialist has the primary duty of maintaining biographical information for SUNY Cortland alumni, parents, students, staff and friends of the college. This position is also responsible for gift processing and assisting the office with technology support.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
- Ability to work evenings and weekend hours during the Cortland Challenge and possibly up to three times per year during special events (e.g. Cortland Challenge, Alumni Reunion, Cortaca)
- Associate’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience in an office setting - or -
- High School diploma or its equivalent with a minimum of 2 or more years’ experience working in an office setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Raiser’s Edge/NXT, Anthology or ImportOmatic
- Experience working in Higher Education or not-for-profit fundraising support
- Help-desk experience
- Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting
