Development Assistant

North Idaho College is seeking a Development Assistant to play a key role in advancing fundraising, donor relations, and alumni engagement. This is a high-responsibility position requiring strong administrative, operational, and fiscal management skills to support the Development Department, including Grants, Alumni Relations, and the NIC Foundation.

As a key team member, you will oversee donor records, coordinate meetings and events, assist in executing fundraising strategies, and provide essential support to the NIC Foundation and Alumni Association boards and committees. You will also assist in preparing and monitoring budgets, tracking financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and reporting on budgetary and business affairs for the NIC Foundation and Alumni Association. Your ability to manage complex projects, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with donors and stakeholders will be crucial. 

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with outstanding organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and experience with donor database software is highly valued. The position also requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and occasionally work evenings or weekends for special events.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree or Applied Science Degree and four years of full-time related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Starting pay range: $21.22 - $24.40

Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: typical college hours Mon-Thurs 7:30-5:00, Fri 7:30-2:30
