Kitchen and Bath junior designer

Duties and Responsibilities

Work closely with the owner/ lead designer

Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, budget, and functional requirements for kitchen and bath spaces

Have strong negotiation skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Develop and present design concepts, including layouts, materials, fixtures, and finishes

Create detailed design drawings, elevations, and renderings using software such as SketchUp, 2020 and Chief Architect

Provide expert advice on product selection, including cabinetry, countertops, tile, lighting, and plumbing fixtures

Prepare proposals, estimates, and contracts for clients

Able to close sales by effectively communicating the value of the proposed design solutions

Maintain accurate records of client interactions and project progress in Microsoft software

Stay current with industry trends, new products, and design software
