Digital Media Manager

Job Overview:

The Digital Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing digital media strategies to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and enhance engagement across all digital platforms. The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital trends, analytics, and best practices. This role requires collaboration with marketing, sales, and product teams to create compelling content and drive online engagement, including photography and video production. A passion for the automotive industry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development and Execution:
  • Develop, implement, and manage our digital media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Define the most important digital KPIs and measure the success of every campaign.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital media best practices and technologies.
  • Content Creation and Management:
  • Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across all digital platforms.
  • Develop a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent posts.
  • Collaborate with designers, photographers, and copywriters to ensure content is informative and appealing.
  • Photography and Video Production:
  • Plan and execute photoshoots and video shoots for digital content.
  • Edit and produce high-quality images and videos that align with the brand’s visual identity.
  • Manage digital assets and ensure they are organized and accessible for future use.
  • Community Management:
  • Engage with the online community and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Foster and build a community around the brand by interacting with followers and nurturing relationships.
  • Campaign Management:
  • Manage and oversee digital media campaigns and their performance.
  • Use digital media marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, etc., to schedule posts and analyze campaigns.
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
  • Analyze digital media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare monthly reports on digital marketing efforts and ROI.
  • Track and analyze analytics to gauge the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  • Brand Advocacy and Awareness:
  • Increase brand awareness and drive web traffic through effective digital media engagement.
  • Work with the marketing team to build the brand voice and presence.
  • Identify influencers and other key opportunities for collaboration and promotion.
  • Trend Monitoring and Competitive Analysis:
  • Keep up with the latest digital media trends, tools, and platforms to ensure the company remains relevant.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and research to stay ahead in the market.
  • Implement strategies to improve performance based on industry trends and competitive insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Digital Media Manager or similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, digital advertising, and digital best practices.
  • Proficiency in photography, video production, and editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro).
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research.
  • Good understanding of digital KPIs.
  • Excellent multitasking skills.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing.
  • Proficient in using digital media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
  • Ability to handle inventory and delivery support content for marketing purposes.
  • Knowledge of fraud prevention in online transactions to create awareness and trust.
