
Service Worker I (Smoot Hill)
Primary duties relate to invasive species management and riparian restoration at the WSU Hudson Biological Reserve located just north of the Pullman campus. Duties include backpack spraying and physical removal of invasive plant species and general grounds maintenance. No experience necessary, training will be provided. Dependable and available to work approximately 20 hours a week (some flexibility). Depending on interests, duties may include plantings of native species, mapping Palouse Prairie endemic species, and development of outreach and education materials. Physical ability to walk on rough terrain carrying 25 lbs. is necessary. Work location is 12 miles from WSU campus.
