Job Description:

Join the team at Scottsburg Raintree Lake KOA Holiday, a family-owned and operated campground just 30 minutes north of Louisville, KY. We’re hiring enthusiastic and dependable Campground Hospitality Team Members to help create unforgettable guest experiences in a welcoming, outdoor environment.

This is a great role for students studying hospitality, tourism, recreation, or business, or for anyone who enjoys working with people in a hands-on, fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities May Include:

Greeting and assisting guests during check-in and throughout their stay

Light housekeeping of bathhouses and campground facilities

Assisting in the Kamp Store and Kafé (serving food, scooping ice cream, restocking)

Supporting campground events, activities, and music nights

General outdoor tasks such as site prep and light maintenance

Helping maintain a friendly and clean campground environment

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old

Friendly, outgoing personality and strong communication skills

Comfortable being outdoors and on your feet for extended periods

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings

Customer service or retail experience is a plus, but not required

Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Uniform & Appearance Requirements:

Uniform shirt provided (must be worn during all scheduled shifts)

Clean, closed-toe shoes and modest shorts or pants required

Staff must maintain a neat and professional appearance

No visible tattoos or body piercings permitted while on duty

Additional Details:

Pay Rate: Starting at $12/hour (based on experience)

Flexible shifts available (weekends required)

Staff discounts available

Participate in campground events that support Care Camps, KOA’s nonprofit helping kids with cancer attend summer camp
