
Entry Level Paralegal
Well-established, reputable law firm in Stoneham, Massachusetts specializing in estate and special needs planning, probate and trust administration, elder law, professional fiduciary services and guardianship/conservatorships is looking to expand our team with a talented entry level paralegal who will be integral in providing excellent legal support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with drafting and preparing legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
- Conduct legal research on estate planning, probate, and trust administration issues.
- Manage and organize client files, ensuring accurate documentation and timely filing of legal documents.
- Assist with the probate and trust administration process, including asset identification and distribution, tax filings, and accountings.
- Communicate directly with clients, courts, and other professionals in a professional and confidential manner.
- Prepare and file court documents related to estate administration and probate matters.
- Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Paralegal certification or equivalent formal education in legal studies.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer skills and Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
