Electrician

Job Purpose: Responsible for performing service/repair, alteration, and maintenance of access control and other related systems.

Description of Duties and Tasks: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining Security Access Control Systems.

2. Perform service/installation of cable, wire, and accessories for access control and related systems.

3. Oversee techs to ensure that preventative maintenance and service tickets are completed on time.

4. Assist with client walkthroughs and questions about Access Control Systems.

5. Evaluates, diagnoses, and troubleshoots cables and access control devices, as necessary.

6. Set up admin and user accounts, including various department credentials.

7. Train new hires and existing techs on the preventative maintenance process.

8. Maintaining confidentiality of work-related information and materials.

9. Schedule preventative maintenance devices to techs via tracking software.  Provide weekly status reports.

10. Work hours are third shift (overnight).
