RADIOLOGY TECHNICIAN JOB SUMMARY:

Here at BridgePoint the Radiology Technician provides patient services using imaging modalities. The Radiology Technician adheres to Radiation safety practices while administering ionizing radiation (X-Rays) to patients in order to achieve satisfactory diagnostic quality images in accordance with ALARA principles. The Radiology Technician operates X-ray equipment processes imaging cassettes, and prepares patient’s room, equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or GED. Satisfactory completion of a Radiologic Technologist program accredited by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Licenses/Certification: ARRT certification required. BLS required

Experience: 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging.
