Prep Cook

Job Title: Prep Cook

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports to: Outlet Chef

The Prep Cook is responsible for assisting in the preparation of recipes, cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Food preparation to recipe specifications
  • Ensuring that food products are properly stored, labelled, dated and rotated
  • Adhere to the designated cooking methods to assist in preparing the appropriate menu items consistently
  • Strives to learn to improve cooking skills and expands knowledge about food products and techniques
  • Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas

 

Must Have Personal Qualifications:

  • Basic cooking skills including knife handling
  • Basic math skills for adapting recipe quantities as needed
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
