OVERVIEW –

We’re seeking a Banquet Server to join our TER Inc. team!

We’re seeking dynamic Servers and Bartenders to deliver outstanding food & beverage service at corporate, social, and community events—with a strong focus on weddings and professional gatherings. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES –

• Set up banquet room as per the requirements for service.
• Prepare for service; polish cutlery/glassware, prepare mise en place etc.
• Assist with food preparation before and during the event
• Serve appetizers and plated dinners to guests, and buffet style service.
• Deliver food from the kitchen to the banquet hall in a timely manner.
• Assist with post event clean up, inventory, food storage and tear down.
• Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Follow local laws and compliance when it comes to beer and wine sales.
• Set up and break down bar and Beverage service stations
• Bartending events and concessions when needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS –

• Experience and/or training in Food & Beverage.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• County of San Diego Food Handler Card preferred.
• CA Responsible Beverage Service/ABC Certification.

• Can handle high-stress situations
• Possess strong communication skills for discussing with colleagues and guests
• Are available to work a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Have reliable transportation for late nights

SALARY  –

$17.00 - 18.00 Hourly + Gratuity
