Summer Program Staff

The Summer Program Staff implements quality educational, enrichment, art, social recreation, sports and fitness programs and activities. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Implement daily programs and activities in multiple program areas.
• Supervise and walk students to and from neighboring schools/locations for club activities.
• Maintain a strict program setting that ensures the health and safety of students.
• Assist with cleaning and organization of program areas.
• Build positive relationships with staff and parents.
• Prepare information for reporting and tracking purposes when necessary.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions. 
• Assume other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Enjoy working with kids, ages 6-14yrs old. 
• The ability to accommodate various learning styles and levels. 
• Bilingual English and Spanish, preferred.
• Minimum high school diploma.
• Strong communication skills. 
• Mandatory CPR and First Aid certifications.
• TB test clearance.
• California Department of Justice and FBI clearance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Monday – Friday, 8am-2pm
• June 16 – August 8, 2025
