Job description

Established Private Preparatory schools in Rowland Heights, California, seek charismatic Math teachers for part-time positions. Classes are kept small, with fewer than 15 students, to ensure personalized attention. The course is designed to support middle school students by reviewing school content and introducing advanced challenge questions and word problems that go beyond the standard curriculum.

Class Time:

Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm in Rowland Heights

Tuesday and Thursday, 2 pm to 5 pm in Rowland Heights

Monday and Wednesday, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm in Temple City

Monday and Wednesday, 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm in Temple City

Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm in Arcadia

Tuesday and Thursday, 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm in Arcadia

Semester:  June 8, 2025, to August 8, 2025 (9 weeks)

Candidate should:

• Have finished a Bachelor's degree
• Be versed in classroom management
• The ideal applicant is preliminarily credentialed
• Have 6 months of teaching or tutoring experience
• Have experience working with high school, middle school, or elementary-aged students
• Commit to a set teaching schedule for 9 weeks

• Algebra 1 Teacher in Rowland Heights on Tuesday and Thursday
• Algebra 1 Teacher in Arcadia on Tuesday and Thursday
• Algebra 1 Teacher in Temple City on Monday and Wednesday
