- Full-Time Salary Range: $35,000 - $65,000

Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan and teach subject area courses and implement content effectively
- Maintain classroom management while cultivating an atmosphere conducive to learning
- Develop curriculum materials, syllabus, outlines and assessments in alignment with the department
- Provide academic support for students
- Actively collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum, assessment and instructional practices in alignment with best practices to create innovative and equitable learning experiences for all students.
- Participate in the school community by attending school sponsored events, assemblies, etc.
- Ensure safe environment for students and staff
- Adhere to school policies and Code of Ethical Conduct
- Performs additional duties as requested by the principal
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of the subject matter being taught
- Excellent classroom management skills to create an organized and productive learning environment
- Proficient in using learning technology and educational resources to enhance instruction
- Effective communication skills to engage students and facilitate learning
- Ability to mentor and support students in their academic and personal growth
- Experience in sports coaching or extracurricular activities is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong proofreading skills for reviewing student work
- Ability to use classroom technology
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in subject area or a related field, Master’s preferred.
- Possess or be working toward an Oregon teaching license in the subject area of instruction or related field.
