Gymnastics Coach

Established in 1872, Sokol Baltimore is a nonprofit organization dedicated to personal and community health by offering affordable gymnastics, fitness, educational, and cultural activities for all ages.

We are hiring instructors for Parent/Child Classes and Recreational Gymnastics for Boys and Beginners.

Class schedules and levels coached are based on availability and coach experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and Manage classes of up to 6 children
• Learn and demonstrate appropriate spotting techniques 
• Facilitate a positive, supportive, fun, and safe learning environment 
• Create a structured setting by making and following lesson plans
• Other ad hoc duties 

Qualifications

• Experience coaching gymnastics or other youth classes
• Ability to communicate with parents, guardians, students, and community members 
• Must pass criminal background check and complete annual Safe Sport Certification
• High school diploma or GED preferred 
• Current or ability to obtain CPR, AED, First Aid, AAU, USAG certifications
