About Us: Clinix Center for Health is a patient-centered medical home that is independently owned. Our Family Practice and Chiropractic office is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our community. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Medical Scheduler/Customer Service Representative to become a valuable member of our expanding team. This position offers meaningful experience for individuals aspiring to build careers in healthcare and healthcare administration.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate and oversee the scheduling of appointments for up to 10 healthcare providers.
  • Effectively communicate patient concerns and relevant information to the interdisciplinary teams.
  • Manage and resolve patient inquiries and issues during phone interactions
  • Identify and determine appropriate instances for medical teams to conduct triage assistance.
  • Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient information. 
  • Communicate information to patients regarding copays, deductibles, and coinsurance.
  • Accurately enter and update patient information in the electronic health records system.
    • Demonstrate excellence in customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in telephone communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and de-escalate situations involving upset or distressed patients.
  • Aptitude for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proven experience in data entry or a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in a medical office or primary care setting is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:30AM - 4:00 PM
  • Full-time (40 per week)
