Math Tutor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and patient Math Tutor to provide academic support and guidance to students at various levels of math proficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to explain mathematical concepts clearly, adapt their teaching methods to meet individual learning styles, and help students improve their confidence and performance in math.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one tutoring in math subjects ranging from basic arithmetic to advanced topics such as algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.

Assess student needs, develop personalized learning plans, and track progress over time.

Help students with homework, test preparation, and understanding of classroom material.

Use engaging and interactive techniques to enhance student learning.

Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student performance, goals, and areas for improvement.

Maintain a positive, supportive, and respectful learning environment.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in mathematics and strong problem-solving skills.

Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and academic levels.

Patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field is a plus.
