Home automation / Audio Video Solutions Technician

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Good with hands, tools and mechanical concepts
  • Follows written and verbal direction well

  • Receptive to new concepts and technologies; always learning
  • Comfortable with Windows and iOS
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to work in attics and crawl spaces
  • Proficient use of hand tools – both manual and power - following safety guidelines
  • Have your own set of hand tools

Responsibilities of Position:

  • Installation of AV systems (displays, networks, lighting systems) audio-video routing and processing equipment, control systems and cabling as directed
  • Maintain inventory, organization and handling of installation materials and supplies
  • Daily work site clean-up, work site waste removal to present a clean and safe work area
  • Assist with documentation and labeling of systems and equipment
  • Consistently provide exceptional customer service with a desire to learn and improve
  • Learn on-the-job skills and industry best practice
  • Be able to work 40 hours a week with some overtime and the very occasional overnight stays to surrounding areas
  • IT & Control4 training will be provided

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $31.00 per hour
