Home automation / Audio Video Solutions Technician

Required Skills and Competencies:
- Good with hands, tools and mechanical concepts
- Follows written and verbal direction well
- Asks relevant questions to complete tasks successfully

- Comfortable with Windows and iOS
- Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Ability to work in attics and crawl spaces
- Proficient use of hand tools – both manual and power - following safety guidelines
- Have your own set of hand tools
Responsibilities of Position:
- Installation of AV systems (displays, networks, lighting systems) audio-video routing and processing equipment, control systems and cabling as directed
- Maintain inventory, organization and handling of installation materials and supplies
- Daily work site clean-up, work site waste removal to present a clean and safe work area
- Assist with documentation and labeling of systems and equipment
- Consistently provide exceptional customer service with a desire to learn and improve
- Learn on-the-job skills and industry best practice
- Be able to work 40 hours a week with some overtime and the very occasional overnight stays to surrounding areas
- IT & Control4 training will be provided
