Mission Engineer/Fleet Liaison for Strike Operations 2025-1456
SimVentions is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to serve as a Mission Engineer and Fleet Liaison for TTWCS developers. Candidate will work physically work on-site at C3F in San Diego and report to NSWCDD in Dahlgren, VA.

Clearance
An ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance is required for this position. This will likely upgrade to TS/SCI within the first few months, no poly. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
Requirements
Former military at the E-7 level or higher. Either a STEM degree or 10 years of Navy experience. In addition to the two previous requirements, an additional 10 years of operationally relevant or engineering experience.
Responsibilities
- Be an active participant in strike related meetings and telcons.
- Gain an understanding of threats, potential employment methods, and strategies used in strike operations. Use this knowledge to facilitate test design.
- Potentially serve as white cell (simulated staff) for test exercises.
- Develop briefs and deliver them either in person or via VTC/SVTC, frequently for high level staffs.
- Gain an understanding of Fleet needs and wants, then translate those into tangible requirements that engineers can utilize for future system designs.
- Travel (up to 25%) and deliver trip reports detailing unclassified notes. Record and provide classified notes separately, typically via email.
- Provide weekly progress reports.
- Provide inputs to (and sometimes lead efforts) for CONEMPs, CONOPs, and other tactical or doctrinal documents.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience with Fleet-wide exercises.
Experience wtih CMTQ, CSTT, and strike operations.
High emotional intelligence, very strong writer/communicator, and team player.
Education
STEM degree (or 10 years experience in lieu of a degree)
Compensation
Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $126,000 - $156,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
