Program Analyst 2025-1457

SimVentions is a 100% employee-owned business and has consistently been voted one of Virginia's Best Places to Work. We are looking for a Junior Program Analyst to join our team in Fredericksburg, VA!

 

The Junior Analyst shall collect cost and other metric data from various sources, organize and analyze the data, putting it into the proper format utilizing existing customer toolsets and entering it and delivering it for monthly internal and external cost. The analyst shall provide analytical support to, or administration oversight of, moderately complex programs/projects. Role may include serving as a subject matter resource on project, updating project management models and forecasts, and researching/analyzing program management matters. This person needs to be detail oriented and proficient in Excel.

 

This person will go on-site at Dahlgren Naval Base in King George, VA occasionally, but has the option of working primarily from our Dahlgren or Fredericksburg office.

Clearance

An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience
  • Detail oriented and proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Technical understanding and ability to prepare complex and detailed technical documents and reports
  • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and execution of project funds for allocation purposes
  • Integrated management schedule (IMS) development and coordination of schedule and status inputs

Responsibilities

  • Provide program/financial analyst support for A50
    • Generate and provide program/project financial packages, data, metrics, and statuses.
    • Prepare and update FY Cost Tool and Fleet Support packages.
    • Resolve errors in financial packages and make necessary updates.
    • Create and update financial review Power Point slide packages.
    • Provide support for Internal Financial Reviews.
    • Assist with other assigned A50 tasks.
    • Collaborate and communicate with multiple government personnel and contractors.
    • Provide feedback and input for improvement of A50 processes.
    • Continue to expand A50 program/financial knowledge.
    • Volunteer to take on new tasks and assignments.
  • Customer Relationship and Team Support
    • Continue strong customer relationship through communication, providing work status to customer, reporting any issues, and providing accurate and complete work products.
    • Participate in team communications, identify areas of improvement, and document lessons learned.
    • Assist and help other team members.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in business or financial discipline preferred but not required.

Compensation

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

 

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
